Vimal Reddy Writer/Director/Producer

Vimal was born and raised in Fiji and now resides in Melbourne, Australia. Vimal has been passionate about movies since childhood and held dreams about becoming a Director/Producer. His childhood dreams were realised with the release of his debut movie “ADHURA SAPNA” in 2007. Filmed on location in Fiji with all local cast and crew, Adhura Sapna became a household name amongst Indo-Fijians across the globe. Vimal is the Writer, Director and Producer of GHAR PARDES.

ABDUL A. HUSSEIN Associate Producer

Abdul was born and raised in Fiji and now resides in Melbourne, Australia. He is the Managing Director of Systematic Solutions Pty Ltd. During his childhood days, Abdul spent many school holidays and week-ends working with his brother at Pheonix Theatre in Suva, Fiji. He was exposed to cinemas and movies from a very young age and has carried this passion into adulthood.

VIJAY KUMARAN
Actor

Vijay was born and raised in Fiji and now resides in Melbourne, Australia. Vijay is a well known entertainer and is often seen at local functions as a DJ and Singer. GHAR PARDES is Vijay’s first appearance in a feature film and he plays the role of a migrant father working hard to settle his family in a foreign country.

ANILA KUMAR
Actress

Anila was born and raised in Fiji and now resides in Sydney, Australia. Anila has appeared in amateur theatre and stage plays in Sydney. GHAR PARDES is Anila’s first appearance in a feature film and she plays the role of a mother raising two kids in a foreign country and the challenges it brings.

PRANEEL RAJORIA
Actor

Praneel was born and raised in Fiji and now resides in Melbourne, Australia. Praneel is passionate about movies and entertaining. GHAR PARDES is Praneel’s first appearance in a feature film and he plays the role of a son growing up in a foreign country and facing the many distractions that await.

PRITASH DUTT
Actress

Pritash was born and raised in Fiji and now resides in Brisbane, Australia. Pritash is a professional Indian Cultural Dancer. GHAR PARDES is Pritash’s first appearance in a feature film and she plays the role of a wife and daughter-in-law who looks forward to building a new life after marrying into a family in Australia.

GEORGE JOSEPH

George joseph was born and raised in India and now resides in Melbourne, Australia. He has worked in the bollywood film industry in India for 6 years. George has also worked on the movie, "mera pati ho to aisa".

Benjamin Fleming
Editor

Born in Bristol, (England), Benjamin always had a camera glued to his face. After finishing a degree in directing at university in Edinburgh (Scotland), Benjamin worked as a video producer and editor for his own company, Classic Revolution Films. Whilst in Scotland he met his wife, an Australian. They moved around the UK for a few months, sampling life on isolated islands, and big cities. Eventually, Australia beckoned and they moved to Melbourne where he continued to ply his trade as an editor. Benjamin has always enjoyed filmmaking, in particular the carving of a narrative from roughly hewn raw footage. Ghar Pardes was his first feature film and was a fantastic experience for him, and he is looking forward to the next one!
